PDF Page Splitting (Split)

The PDF Page Splitting tool splits a single PDF file into multiple PDFs in a rule-based manner. The aim is not to “take the pages I selected”; generally, it is to make the file manageable by splitting (submission limits, signature flow, sharing in sections, archiving).

What is it used for?

  • Splitting large PDFs (report, catalog, contract attachment) into shareable pieces
  • Automatically packaging like “one file every 10 pages”
  • Making each page a separate PDF and downloading with a single ZIP
  • Separating sections by ranges and sending only their section to the relevant people

Splitting Methods

1) Split by Range

The user writes or selects ranges:

  • Example: 1-5, 6-12, 13-20 Output: 3 separate PDFs.

Support for Mixed Ranges (professional expectation):

  • Example: 1-3, 8-10, 15-18 This way, the hassle of manually producing files one by one ends.

2) Split Every X Pages

Automatic split preset:

  • “One every 2 pages”
  • “One every 5 pages”
  • “One every 10 pages” Output: PDF is divided into equal blocks.

3) Make Each Page a Separate PDF

  • Each page in the PDF becomes a single file: page-001.pdf, page-002.pdf …
  • Most practical delivery when there are multiple outputs: Download ZIP

4) Split by Size

For submission limits:

  • A target is set like “no file exceeds 10 MB”.
  • The tool automatically packages pages into pieces close to the size. (Note: Since the size varies according to the page content, the aim is not “exactly 10 MB” but “approximately and safely below”.)

5) Split by Bookmarks — Optional but Powerful

If section titles are marked as bookmarks in catalogs/books/long reports:

  • The tool automatically generates files according to the bookmark level.
  • Provides quick and error-free parsing with the logic of “Table of Contents → by section”.

Usage Flow

  1. Upload PDF
  2. Select splitting method (Range / Every X page / Each page / Size / Bookmark)
  3. Preview: how many files will come out, which pages will go to which piece
  4. Split → download
  • Single files can be downloaded individually
  • For multiple files, Download ZIP is recommended

Output Options

  • File naming:
    • document-part-01.pdf
    • document-part-02.pdf
  • (Optional) Custom prefix:
    • like sozlesme-ek-01.pdf This gives the user confidence that “files won’t get mixed up”.

Difference Between Split and Extract / Delete (Short and Clear)

  • Split: 1 PDF → multiple PDFs (rule-based splitting)
  • Extract: 1 PDF → new PDF with selected pages (extraction)
  • Page Deletion: 1 PDF → new PDF with remaining pages (cleaning)

FAQs

I want to split the PDF in half, what is the fastest method?

Split by range: two pieces like 1-10 and 11-20.

Will it be difficult to download one by one when making each page a separate file?

For this reason, the output in “each page as a separate PDF” mode is provided as ZIP.

Why does splitting by size sometimes produce pieces with different page counts?

The content of the pages (visual density, fonts) changes the file size; the tool packages in a way that “will stay below the target size”.
