What does the tool do?

This sub-tool normalizes the ISO content to 7Z standard. There are two usage modes:

  • Content Mode (recommended): Extracts files from the ISO > preserves folder structure > produces 7Z archive. Extracting ISO with 7z is a common method in practice (with the 7z x command).
  • Preserve Image Mode: If you are carrying a “bootable iso”, it puts the ISO into 7Z as a single file without opening the ISO (the boot feature is not used in the archive, but the ISO file is preserved).
